When I was doing distance l earning during COVID-19, I actually felt like I was much more organized and on top of my work. I think this was the case because I had a lot more free time and was spending my time doing assignments rather than spending a lot of time in my electives, or lunch, or even driving to and from school. The one thing I had a really hard time with while doing distance learning was my more rigorous classes like my AP Psychology class and my Orchestra class. Trying to prep for a AP exam through zoom made it difficult for me to focus and I got distracted easily while at home. I couldn’t imagine how much more difficult it would be teaching through distance learning, because it is so hard to connect with your students this way, however, I would probably try to come up with engaging assignments that were interactive and helped get my point across in the lesson.
